Notice is hereby given that the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Air Pollution Control Board will receive public comments upon the application for the installation of the following air pollutant source in Hamilton County, TN.
Wal-Mart Stores East, LP, has proposed to install a generator engine at 4150 Ringgold Road, East Ridge, TN. Potential annual air pollutant emissions resulting from the operation of this engine, which will be fueled by diesel fuel, are estimated to be 28.94 tons of carbon monoxide, 5.54 tons of nitrogen oxides, 1.57 tons of volatile organic compounds, 0.25 ton of particulate matter, and 0.049 ton of sulfur oxides. Emissions of NOX from the engine will be controlled by a selective catalytic reduction system.

Comments or requests must be received by 4:30 p.m. EDT, Wednesday, December 23, 2025, to be considered in the proposed permitting action.
