Public Notice – Town of Signal Mountain

Notice is hereby given that the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Air Pollution Control
Board will receive public comments upon the application for the installation of the
following air pollutant source in Hamilton County, TN.
The Town of Signal Mountain has proposed to install a new municipal waste air
curtain incinerator at 617 Timberlinks Dr., Signal Mountain, TN. Annual air pollutant
emissions resulting from the operation of this equipment are estimated to be no more
than 166.43 tons of carbon monoxide, 22.19 tons of nitrogen oxides, 7.77 tons of
particulate matter, and 6.10 tons of volatile organic compounds.

person or online beginning at 4:30 p.m. EST, Friday, Feb. 9, 2024.

    hearing concerning it should be mailed or delivered to the Bureau Executive Director at
    the above address. Comments or requests must be received by 4:30 p.m. EST,
    Monday, March 11, 2024, to be considered in the proposed permitting action.
    If a public hearing is requested, notice of the date, time, and location of the hearing
    will be posted on the Bureau’s website, apcb.org, by Thursday, March 14, 2024.
