Legal Notice for Kordsa, K-VA-T Food Stores, 7-Eleven, and Stand Gap, LLC

Notice is hereby given that the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Air Pollution Control Board will receive public comments upon the applications for the installation of the following air pollutant sources in Hamilton County, TN.

      Kordsa, Inc., has proposed to install a new process for coating polymer fabric with latex at 4501 North Access Road, Chattanooga, TN. This process will use seven ovens that will be fueled exclusively by natural gas. Annual air pollutant emissions resulting from the operation of equipment of this process are estimated to be no more than 24.71 tons of particulate matter, 21.34 tons of nitrogen oxides, 17.24 tons of carbon monoxide, 14.93 tons of volatile organic compounds, and 0.12 ton of sulfur dioxide.

      K-VA-T Food Stores, Inc., has proposed to install a gasoline dispensing facility at 1667 Ooltewah Ringgold Road, Ooltewah, TN. This facility will utilize Stage I vapor recovery.

      7-Eleven, Inc., has proposed to install a gasoline dispensing facility at 3301 Broad Street, Chattanooga, TN. This facility will utilize Stage I vapor recovery.

      Stand Gap LLC has proposed to install a gasoline dispensing facility at 8107 Standifer Gap Road, Chattanooga, TN. This facility will utilize Stage I vapor recovery.

      Written comments on any of these proposed permitting actions or requests for a public hearing concerning any of them should be mailed or delivered to the Bureau Executive Director at the above address. Comments or requests must be received by 4:30 p.m. EDT, Friday, May 12, 2023, to be considered in the specified proposed permitting action.
