Tennessee Division of Air Pollution Control’s Annual Monitoring Network Plan Public Comment Period and Hearing

There will be a public hearing before the Technical Secretary of the Tennessee Air Pollution Control Board to consider revisions to the Tennessee Division of Air Pollution Control’s Annual Monitoring Network Plan. An annual evaluation of this plan is required by 40 CFR 58.10. ITEM: Tennessee is required by 40 CFR 58.10 to prepare and submit an annual monitoring network plan which provides documentation of the establishment and maintenance of an air quality surveillance system consisting of a network of monitoring stations along with any proposed network modifications. The plan must also ensure that all requirements within appendixes A, B, C, D, and E of Part 58 are being met. HEARING INFORMATION:

The hearing will take place at the location, date, and time indicated above. All persons interested in the air quality of the State of Tennessee are urged to attend and will be afforded the opportunity to present testimony to the hearing officer regarding the Annual Monitoring Network Plan. Anyone desiring to make oral comments at this public hearing is requested to prepare a written copy of their comments to be submitted to the hearing officer at the public hearing. The hearing officer may limit the length of oral comments in order to allow all parties an opportunity to speak and will require that all comments be relevant to the Annual Monitoring Network Plan. Written statements not presented at the hearing will only be considered part of the record if received by close of business on June 26, 2023, at the office of the Technical Secretary, Tennessee Division of Air Pollution Control, 312 Rosa L.
