NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD AND OPPORTUNITY FOR PUBLIC HEARING FOR A PROPOSED PERMITTING ACTION
Notice is hereby given that the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Air Pollution Control Board will receive public comments upon the application for the installation of the following air pollutant sources in Hamilton County, TN.
Smyrna Ready Mix Concrete, LLC has proposed to install a cement dome storage and transfer system at 1400 East 39th Street, Chattanooga, TN. Annual air pollutant emissions resulting from the operation of this equipment are estimated to be no more than 1.436 tons of particulate matter. Emissions from the cement dome storage and transfer system will be controlled.

Written comments on this proposed permitting action or requests for a public hearing concerning it should be mailed or delivered to the Bureau Executive Director at the above address. Comments or requests must be received by 4:30 p.m. EDT, Friday, June 27, 2025, to be considered in the proposed permitting action.
If a public hearing is requested, notice of the date, time, and location of the hearing will be posted on the Bureau’s website, apcb.org, on Tuesday, July 1, 2025.
