Public Notice – Porter Warner Industries, LLC

Notice is hereby given that the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Air Pollution Control Board will receive public comments upon the renewal application for the operation of the following air pollutant source in Hamilton County, TN.

Porter Warner Industries, LLC, has applied for the renewal of the Part 70 (Title V) permit for their manufacturing facility at 2 East 38th St., Chattanooga, TN. Potential air pollutant emissions from the facility are estimated to be 36.87 tons/year of phenol and 5.65 tons/year of particulate matter.

Comments or requests must be received by 4:30 p.m. EDT, Monday, April 22, 2024, to be considered in the proposed permitting action. If a public hearing is requested, notice of the date, time, and location of the hearing will be posted on the Bureau’s website, apcb.org, by Thursday, April 25, 2024.
