Notice is hereby given that the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Air Pollution Control
Board will receive public comments upon the application for the installation of the
following air pollutant source in Hamilton County, TN.
Woodbridge Chattanooga Formed Plastics LP has proposed to install two boilers at
3800 Amnicola Highway, Chattanooga, TN. Annual air pollutant emissions resulting
from the operation of these boilers are estimated to be no more than 18.18 tons of
carbon monoxide, 8.83 tons of nitrogen oxides (NO X ), 1.64 tons of particulate matter,
1.19 tons of volatile organic compounds, and 0.31 ton of sulfur oxides. The two boilers
will be fueled exclusively by natural gas. NO X emissions from them will be reduced by
the use of “low-NO X ” burners.
