Notice is hereby given that the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Air Pollution Control
Board will receive public comments upon the application for the modification of the
following air pollutant source in Hamilton County, TN.
Nouryon Surface Chemistry LLC has proposed to increase the hourly production
rate of an existing spray dryer at 909 Mueller Avenue, Chattanooga, TN. Increases in
hourly air pollutant emissions resulting from this modification are estimated to be no
more than 0.20 pound of volatile organic compounds and 0.013 pound of particulate
matter.

Written comments on this proposed permitting action or requests for a public
hearing concerning it should be mailed or delivered to the Bureau Executive Director at
the above address. Comments or requests must be received by 4:30 p.m. EDT,
Wednesday, May 24, 2023, to be considered in the proposed permitting action.
