March 21, 2022 – April 21, 2022: Notice of Public Comment Period and Opportunity for Public Hearing for a Proposed Permitting Action

Notice is hereby given that the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Air Pollution Control
Board will receive public comments upon the application for the installation of the
following air pollutant source in Hamilton County, TN.

Corley Manufacturing Company has proposed to install a plasma cutting table at 2900
Crescent Circle, Chattanooga, TN. Air pollutant emissions of particulate matter
resulting from this cutting table will be controlled by a filter baghouse and are estimated
to be no more than 0.00079 pound/hour and 0.0035 ton/year. Questions may be
directed to Alan Frazier, Bureau Engineering Manager, at 423.643.5978.

Materials concerning this proposed permitting action may be inspected in person or
online beginning at 8:00 a.m. ET, on Monday, March 21, 2022.

Written comments on this proposed permitting action or requests for a public hearing
concerning it, should be mailed or delivered to the Bureau Executive Director at the
above address. Comments or requests must be received by 4:30 p.m. EDT, Thursday,
April 21, 2022, to be considered in the specified proposed permitting action.

If a public hearing is requested, notice of the date, time, and location of the hearing will
be posted on the Bureau’s website, apcb.org, and published in the Chattanooga Times
Free Press on Sunday, April 29, 2022.
